This is the first post of my new blog. I really don't know what to blog. I ordered business cards and the blog address was printed on them, so I figured something should be on here.
Hopefully later I'll dazzle you with some insight into my foray into the world of stand-up comedy. So far it's been a tremendously positive experience and I've honestly had the most fun that I can remember. It's the best feeling ever when you're on stage and your jokes are connecting with the crowd. Creating something that can bring joy into the lives of someone is so incredible. I know how comedy has really helped get me through tough times in my own life, so being able to potentially do the same for someone else is probably the most rewarding thing there is.
Anyway, I guess the main objective for this post is to be a thank you. I'd really like to thank my friends and family for the overwhelming support they have shown me through this last two and a half months doing comedy. I don't really keep it a secret how I've battled with depression in my life. At times I've felt like I was the loneliest person on the planet. All of the great friends and family who have gone out of the way to come out to my shows and open mics really has shown me how many great people I have in my life. I'm really lucky to be surrounded by incredible people. I appreciate everything people have done for me. I am so grateful.
That's it for round one of the blog. I'm gonna try and update this fairly often so if you'd like to subscribe to it or add your email to the box on the right, that'd be swell.
